The story of Matt’s obsession with food begins at his grandmother’s side; standing on a stool learning to make pancakes. A love of food had always been a driving force in Matt’s life. No matter how much he resisted, it seemed he was destined to cook. Leaving McMaster University for the renowned culinary management program at George Brown College, Matt excelled and graduated with honours.

From the humble beginnings of working the breakfast shift at a boutique hotel in Waterloo, Matt eventually wound up in the kitchen of North 44 in Toronto. It was while working at North 44 that Matt learned the essential skills necessary to provide a level of quality that few other caterers can offer.

After a few years of working side by side with Michael Abbott, the two decided that they had what it takes to make it on their own.

Like two sides to the same coin, Matt and Michael work together to form a team that is unsurpassed in the city of Toronto. Together they will make your event something people will remember for years.
